Q: Are you aware that the name of your hosting service is a ridiculously bad pun?

A: Oh yes.

Q: Am I required to show advertisements/popups on my site in return for hosting?

A: Unfortunately we have hit our quota for ad free accounts. Every new signup is now required to display a 460x60 banner ad on their content pages. We will be running another ad free promotion soon, so be sure to check back!

Q: If I should have any queries, problems or complaints, how can I contact you?

A: You can either get in touch with us via the contact page or shoot us an email at info@dlvhost.net.

Q: Am I allowed to host adult content?

A: No, if found to be hosting such content you will be removed from the service immediately.

Q: Can I use my DLVHOST.net account as a file store?

A: No, as with adult content regular checks are performed to detect users who may be doing this. Anyone found to be hosting files on our system will have their account removed immediately.

Q: Is it really free?

A: Absolutely.

Service

Q: Is there a limit on the disk space or bandwidth that my account can use?

A: Yes and no. In regard to disk space, we initially limit it to 25MB. If you should require more than this, we can increase this for you. Just send us through an email.

There is no fixed limit on the amount of bandwidth your site can use. The bandwidth your site uses is monitored and if it is what we deem to be excessive, then we will contact you and come to a resolution.

Q: Can I host a domain here? If so, what is required of me?

A: Yes. Upon special request and approval we can host domains at DLVHOST.net. What we require is that you first contact us, stating the domain name and a brief description of the site. You can also do this at signup and include this in the 'comments/requests' field.

If approved, we will provide you with the nameservers that you must point your domain to, along with any conditions of us hosting the domain. Then, after DNS propagation, your domain should be up and running on DLVHOST.net!

Q: I require PHP/Perl/Python/ASP and/or a database (SQL Express, MySql), how do I go about enabling these on my account?

A: During the signup process mention exactly what you require in the 'comments/requests' field and we will enable them for you. Alternatively, send us an email after you have signed up.
